Aaryn Titus
Director
Aaryn Titus serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. Aaryn, an Adlai E. Stevenson High School freshman, displays exceptional commitment and leadership in his activities.
Aaryn focuses heavily on community-building endeavors. He has gained academic praise as a student, standing out in the most advanced math and English classes in his school. He also qualified for the State Science Fair in his 8th grade, winning gold and other special awards, against hundreds of other competitors. He has also participated in MathCounts, winning local and other competitions in that field.
Aaryn has also enjoyed playing violin and piano since he was in first grade, which he has continued in high school. Winning in several piano recitals, his performances have garnered appreciation. He has also won gold medals, getting placements such as Division 1+ in violin solo contests. Aaryn also feels a passion for giving back to his local community. He has completed many activities, such as Feed My Starving Children and other service activities at his church.
Aaryn excels in public speaking and participates in groups like Model UN and Mock Trial, where he has won competitions, such as BRUSMUN (Brazil-US Model UN). Aaryn is engaged in his actions and will truly empower humanity.

Nikhil Vijaykumar
Director
Nikhil Vijayakumar serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. Nikhil, an Adlai E. Stevenson High School Freshman, displays astonishing leadership and steady right-up communication. Nikhil’s passion and grit for sports truly show in his results. When Nikhil was 12, he was regionally ranked 19 for boys 12 and under. Now that Nikhil is 14 and after various late-night practices with coaches, other Midwest players, and physical trainers, Nikhil has broken the top 500 nationally for Boys 14 and under. Nikhil will keep putting in excruciating amounts of work to break the top 100. Tennis is not the only sport Nikhil excels at.
Volleyball is something that flows in this 6-foot athletic beast’s blood. Nikhil led his middle school volleyball team to become the 7th-grade Patriot’s feeder conference champion and the 8th-grade Patriot’s feeder conference champion. Nikhil has always been called a leader since he was a little 6-year-old. When he first stepped into a classroom and had his first parent-teacher conference, he was awarded the name of leader, and he has carried that same title for the past 8 years of his life.
As much as Nikhil excels in sports, he also vigorously puts effort into academics. Some educational achievements that Nikhil has under his belt are, G by 4 in Kumon which means learning high school Algebra before the completion of their 4th grade

Pratyush Kumar
Director
Pratyush Kumar serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. Pratyush is a freshman at Adlai E. Stevenson High School and demonstrates creativity and leadership in his community.
With a passion for public speaking and engineering, Pratyush was a core member of his FLL robotics team that represented Illinois and won the global innovation award during middle school against a thousand other teams.
Outside of academics, he enjoys playing piano and is part of the volleyball club Adversity. Pratyush is passionate about giving back to his community as he has volunteered numerous times for organizations like Feed My Starving Children, Fill A Heart 4 Kids, and more.
To pursue his educational prowess, he participates in FBLA and Model UN as he aspires to become a successful leader.

Saairam Vaidhyanathan
Director
Saairam (Saai) Vaidhyanathan, a passionate young man, serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. He is an Adlai Stevenson High School freshman and enjoys mathematics, business, volleyball, and traveling.
As a studious student, Saai has achieved remarkable awards, such as a silver award in the IJAS State Science Fair as well as the Frank Houser award, a special grant award of $50 for his study in Water filtration.
Although Saai excels in his academics, he finds time to fit in sports. He has consistently played volleyball throughout his middle school career.
He also started a couple of his own businesses such as a tutoring program where he tutored kids from the age of 11 and under, helping out the community excel along with him.

Ananya Iyer
Director
Ananya is a freshman at Adlai E. Stevenson High School, serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. She excels in math and science, earning recognition for her commitment to academic excellence. Beyond academics, Ananya is a versatile talent. With five years of experience as a violinist and a member of the Stevenson Orchestra, she has earned three gold medals in the Illinois Grade School Music Association Solo Contest. Notably, she clinched second place in the 2020 EARTH Global Art Competition for her painting. As an emerging coding enthusiast, Ananya has developed several games, apps, and websites in various programming languages like Python, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React Native, demonstrating her ambition and dedication to learning. In addition to her academic and artistic pursuits, Ananya finds success in sports, particularly in Swimming and Track and Field. She secured 3rd Place in the Patriot Middle School Conference in Discus, and she's a proud member of the Junior Varsity Swim Team at Stevenson. Ananya's hard work and ambitions span across academics, arts, and athletics, promising a bright and creative future as she continues to pursue her varied interests and talents.

Tejas Gurumurti
Director
Tejas Gurumurti serves as Director at Empowering Humanity. Tejas, an Adlai E. Stevenson High School freshman member of the Model United Nations, KIVA club, Future Business Leaders of America, and Student Council. I have had a profound desire to give back right from a young age, participating in several charities within my middle school, Daniel Wright, as well as being a member of clubs that raise money for charity within Stevenson, one of them being KIVA, which helps businesspeople in developing countries succeed. Additionally, I am experienced with leading and assisting those who are younger than me as I have taught young 6th Graders about Social Emotional Learning as a member of my school’s Leaders in Learning program, as well as children who are younger in my Taekwondo school.

Shrihan Patnaik
Director
Shrihan Patnaik serves as one of the Directors at Empowering Humanity. Shrihan is a freshman at Adlai E. Stevenson High School that spends lots of time on his interests and hobbies. He has a very high enthusiasm for sports and athletics, and it shows through his hard work during his time on his middle school volleyball and wrestling team. He has participated in volleyball and wrestling for 2 years, yet he is still doing wrestling on the Stevenson team. Shrihan is also in many clubs such as Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA), Startup Businesses and Technology (SBT), and Kiva club. He also exceeds in his classes even though some of them are accelerated and challenging. He has always had a passion for his studies winning the bronze award in the IJAS Science Fair for State at Bradley University as well as a gold award for the Regional competition as well as the winner of the Rebecca Caudill Reading Competition in middle school. However, Shrihan has also excelled in his talents of the fine arts. His vocal capacity has met the likes of the former Indian president Ram Nath Govind as well as the consulate general of India, and has also performed for temples, malls, and venues of different traditions. Shrihan has also participated in lots of art shows. But his best characteristic is how much he contributes to the community. He has volunteered for any programs such as Feed My Starving Children, Bernie’s Book Bank, Fill a Heart 4 Kids, and more. Shrihan has had so much love for his community and his peers and is a great role model for kids that he has decided to teach art in Empowering Humanity.
